Flying spider what the h**l?

omg. i was sitting in the computer and this small spider must have been around 3-4 mm it was yellow was on its back descending diagonally down. what the **** dude? and there was no net so it must have been flying. if you happen to know the name or provide me with a link plz...

  1. Many spiders will let out a long thread from their spinerets and use it like a seed uses the wind - as a sort of flying device. They are so light that they can get away with that.

    It might also have been an invisible line that the spider had already attached at a diagonal angle.

    Perhaps there was a bit of a breeze and the spider was just making a long web in the wind, making look like it was going down on a diagonal.

    Spiders don't fly. Sorry. That would make a good movie, though...hmmmmm...

  3. A yellow spider is like asking who was that guy with black hair. As far as flying, some spiders will fall without a web when discovered.  Falling is not flying.  Cats always land on their feet and spiders don't care because they are light enough that they will always land safely.
