Flying to Goa?

OK im a bit confused...

I was told that if you were going to Goa for more than 4 weeks you couldnt fly straight in to Goa so on previous long stays I have flown via Mumbai.

Last time I went to over a Goan friend told me that I can fly straight to Goa aslong as I leave from Goa.

Does anybody know if you can fly straight there or not...would rather not have to stay in Mumbai on my own for the night!

  1. No International flight is being directly operated to and from Goa.You have to travel through Mumbai. If you are a foreigner, you have to get your immigration and custom cleared at Mumbai and then take the connecting flight to Goa.
