I am flying with Delta Airlines from Budapest (Hungary) to Key West, FL. For all the outside USA flights are two checked baggages permited. But with Delta there are two exceptions and unfortunately, one of them is Key West Intl Airport. Can I really NOT take two baggages with me or will I just have to pay for the another one?

  1. They will charge you 4 ur 2nd bag. I'm flying international next month, but because i purchased my ticket back in March, they wont charge me since they just changed the rule last month. Call your airline!

  2. Not 100% sure, but they'll probably make you pay $25.00 for the second piece of luggage.  Here in the U.S., most of the airlines are now only allowing one piece of checked luggage (maximum of 50 pounds) at no extra charge, and they're charging an additional $25.00 for each piece of luggage.  This applies to ALL flights, domestic or overseas.  Heck, American Airlines is now charging $25.00 for each piece of checked luggage -- no freebies there.  Best bet is to check with Delta at the airport in Budapest just to be safe.  I seriously doubt they'll say you can only bring one piece of luggage, but better safe than sorry...
