Flying with a Tent!! Are pegs allowed in hand luggage??

Question

I am flying to sicily on ryanair and was planning to take a very smal tent, just realised that pegs may be deemed "dangerous". Does anybody know if they are allowd and if not are there any alternatives to go in hand luggage.???

no they aren't coz they are pointy and they think you might stab someone.

They will show up on the scan or the search and be confiscated.  Put them in the hold..
