Flying with three year old on Airasia?

Ok, we have flown a lot, but not on Airasia. My question is if there is a discount for underage travellers? On our last flight in March thru Thai Airways, his seat was discounted 25% due to his young age. Also, in the US, he would sometimes go for a lowered price.

Does anyone know if Airasia does this too???

Need to book ASAP... came across an urgent situation and have to go from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur Saturday! Answers very greatly appreciated!

I want to say yes but probably not becuase they are a no frills low cost airline.

Only if your child is under two years old will you get a discount, I flew AirAsia from BKK to Penang recently with my 5 yr. old and had to buy a full fare ticket for her.

It looks unlikely. When you click on the number of "guests", the only options are infants 9 days to 24 months. Look at the red box on the left. On the bottom is their contact info so you can ask further.

I think this is a "low cost" company and they rarely give kid discounts.
