Focalin XR?

The prescription was for 20 MG of Focalin XR... what would happen if you were to snort 40, and if that's too much, what would be a good recreational amount?

Sorry, but there is no "good recreational amount."  It is however, against the law and can get you in deep doo-doo with with DEA.  

Besides that, snorting amphetamine-type medications can have serious consequences such as arrhythmia, hypertension and death, not to mention likely side-effects such as habit-addiction, headache, nausea and abdominal pain.  Have fun!

If someone is going to abuse a drug anyways, you might as well give them the best answer that would keep them safe.
