  1. Bad idea.  I just went to a wedding reception in June and they had one.  It actually SMELLED when the fog went off.  It really did nothing to create any kind of "ambiance" if that is what the couple was after...I don't know.

    Forget the fog machine.

  2. Bad. We run a fog machine at halloween and it can cause respiratory distress in some people, even in an open air environment. In addition, it can make the surface slick under high humidity conditions making you liable for injuries.  I'd dump that idea mighty quick.

  3. Bad - it can leave the wedding dress dirty and smelling and you don't want that, especially not if the dress is rented!

  4. i will do it. i like it especially when the bride and the groom dance their first dance as a married couple. it will be so romantic with a nice song

    Good luck

  5. Good idea in theory, but the above answerers were right, the smell and the dust are definitely factors...plus you may have someone who's allergic to the chemicals...I can't breathe very well around those...

  6. I think its a cute idea- place it close to floor level so it looks like rising mist..not like a cloud that fell down-people still need to be able to see each otherr- I wouldn't worry about it staining or ruining anything- fog machines don't usually spray out anything wet, unlike their cousin the bubble machine, which look great but will make your dance floor area into a slip and slide and leave bubbles marks all over your dress.. just make sure your fog machine is approved by your facility, some use particles in the mix that can set of the sprinkler systems.
