I'm a young lady with big dreams.

I want to open up a cool restaurant in Manhatten.

I want to serve multi-cultural food, so that it's friendly for everybody that comes.

What would your ideal restaurant have? ex: food, bar, setting, age target.. Be as creative as you want but please be realistic!

  1. A restaurant that appeals to everyone...no age restrictions.   Get away from designer food, cook old fashioned home cooking......make specials everyday, make early bird specials, a special menu and pricing for seniors, a special childs section (under 12) and a special menu for the 13 - 30 crowd, etc......

Offer meals,  example, this sandwich comes with your choice of 2 accompaniments......

Bar, full service, alcohol, beer and wine.

Outdoor food area.  Patio section for smokers......

Fast food, burgers, hot dogs, tacos, wings, chinese entrees....thai food, mexican, fish n chips;  roast beef, mash potatoes, gravy, fresh bake bread, fresh cakes, muffins and pies.....

  2. Let us pensoiners in - we like to go out and eat too. You can't go wrong with roast beef, roast potatoes (not deep fried) and Yorkshire pudding. Since I emmigrated to Canada I have been appauled with the mashed potato here it's watery and tastes like it came from a packet. If you want good mashed potato, mash it with pepper, butter and milk - not water!

Good Luck , I'm British if you hadn't realised it.
