Follow up formula question?

My 6 month old is on Nestle Goodstart and does awesome on it. I'm thinking about going to the Goodstart 2 with added calcium. Is it a good idea...does it really make a difference, or should I just leave him on the regular goodstart since he does so well on it. Anyone else gone to the goodstart 2...what's your opinion on it?

  1. I wouldn't change to Goodstart2 until at least 9 mos.  Read the labels of each for recommended ages.

  2. the stage 2 formula's are only good if your baby is eating  food very well . My doctor said he has not met a child that ate enough food to be able to do well on the stage 2 formula till they are close to 1 year.

I would talk to you doctor about changing .but I wouldn't chang if she is doing well on the regular good start

  3. I would say if he/she is doing good with what they are drinking leave them on it.

  4. Like the old saying goes: "It if ain't broke, don't fix it".

  5. If your babies doing fine on it then thats cool it does normally say on the tin/tub you can leave babies on them up to 12 months...

I had to change my daughter to follow on milk because the health visitors advised me to as she wasnt putting alot of weight on and actually lost weight one week. Now shes doin amazing on her follow on!!

If you are really conserned maybe ask your Health visitor or GP...

    Hope this helps!!
