  1. i would try a cold or frozen wash cloth

  2. Damp washcloths, etc. didn't work for us. My son was also a little too young to hold anything very well when he got his two first teeth. What he really liked was this little frog toy they sell at Wal-Mart that vibrates. Yes, I had to hold it for him, but it made him feel so much better :)

  3. dampen a few wash cloths and put them into plastic freezer bags and freeze them. Just take one out as needed.

a frozen Popsicle can work too just be very careful.

  4. I gave my son a damp wash clothe that had been in the fridge a few hours and it seemed to work. He would suck and suck on it My son didn't like teethers either.  Here is a website that might help. http://www.natural-moms.com/naturalremed...

  5. my son is 3 months and has that problem. one thing to do is chill the nipple to a bottle, my son does that and it works a lot better. or the popsicles that come in plastic, freezer pops, they work too, just be careful of sharp corners of plastic. my son is too young for orajel my ped said its ok to give him tylenol for infants if he really needs it, that generally works when he gets bad but when its wearing off you  surely can tell! best of luck to you!

  6. I took a wash cloth and made one corner wet and stuck it in the freezer untill it was frozen and gave the baby that. Try to find something that he loves to chew on, it will prolly be something that isnt his but, maybe you can just let him have it or an old cell phone or something. It is really hard to find something that works since every baby is different. You dont like to use medicine? Never use that numbing stuff since they can choke and ive heard really bad storys on it. Hope this helps some
