Okay, I asked a question about why my computer was running slow after installing updates, and you told me it was because it was like an overload or something of that nature. All of the programs you gave me require a subscription, so I was wondering if this program that's installed on my computer will work, it's called PC doctor. I also have McAfee Virus Scan. Will either of these programs clean my registry?

  2. I wouldn't recommend playing with the registry.  I don't have access to your previous question, so I can't reference it.

Basically put, your computer needs a good chunk of RAM, a good processor, and your own good judgement about which programs you NEED to run at any given moment.  If it is already set on that end, you're doing good.

So now, if you are set (or even if you're not), it is wise to keep your computer cleaned up.  This means no spyware/malware that will watch your movements, spread viruses, worms, or leave your computer open to outside attackers.  If you have already taken care of this part, then see the above paragraph.  If not, then find a program that will run smoothly on your computer and get a good removal program.  Spyware Doctor will work, and it is a subscription.  I don't know of PC Doctor as anything other than a hardware specialization firm.

    Best of luck!
