Question

After the wreck Gilliland and McDowell were both called to NASCARS truck...

(insert filler and detail of wreck here)

Why in the WORLD was Gilliland called into the truck, other than to protect McDowell from gettin knocked up side the head...

IDK what race you guys saw, but I saw a guy in the 00 who cant qualify on a track alone, and cannot race.. esp at the glen.

They both were driving pretty aggressively heading into the corner.  I'm sure they got a talking to about that by NASCAR.  Gilliland didn't look all too happy when he got out of the car after the crash.  I'm sure NASCAR wanted to make sure there would be no retaliation for the whole incident.

I think NASCAR called them both in because the aggressive driving started before in the previous turns but the end result was the crash so they addressed the entire events leading up to the wreck in that particular corner.

McDowell started the whole thing. He ought to be thrown out of the Cup

series, since he was put into the series way too soon, Michael Waltrip

racing ought to be ashamed. They are training McDowell to be the next

crash fest driver like Mikey is. I have a better idea : Michael Waltrip

racing should close down.

Another case of when drivers run out of talent on a track.  Causes everybody else alot of pain and torn up race cars.  As I said, both of those drivers ran out of talent before running out of racetrack..
