well my first year of high school was great, i had great friends, awesome style, and a happy year all around. My second year i wore alot of hollister, abercrombie, american eagle and lots of puma and vans shoes. My friends and I always dressed like that...since 5th grade. Then i noticed all the gangsters at my school started wearing american eagle and hollister with vans and pumas like my friends and I theres about 30 people in my group of friends we all changed our style so we can all be different from the style copiers, im more of a lacoste and ralph lauren guy now, other friends show at forever 21, anchor blue, and banana republic, express, and the stores i shop at. My friends also started the mohawk haircut at my school. But dont any of you people think its stupid how people change thier styles to be in the same crowd? and are completely different? the gangsters went from saggy pants with grills to hollister vans and mohawks. they even try to talk to me now they still have thier gangster accent...im not gonna lie they are all mexican not racist just saying...I dont mind dressing like my friends but i like my own unique style with lacoste and stuff even though it can get expensive...Why do people always want to copy? im in my third year, im just expressing my opinions and wanting to know what ya'll think

  1. Ya just dress the way you want. People that copy styles just end up looking stupid

  2. yeah i dont like copycats much either.. but i guess if people never copied, there wouldnt be trends nowadays like skinny jeans and flats and leggings. but thats cool right? youre like a trendsetter.

  3. o god yeahhhh. i totally get it. i would always be i guess 'on top of the trends' i usually get alot of sample designer stuff from modelling shoots. i used to hate it when i would day view some amazing article of clothing one night and the week later all my friends had them. so i was like whatever and then every girl at my school ended up buying them. it was rally frustrating because i wanted to be stylish and chic but unique at the same time. i take pride in my clothes and style. yeah i know cheesy but clothes are part of what defines a person. after a while i came to accept that there unfortunately nothing i can really do about it so i tried to think of everyone following my style as a compliment. i like to think of myself as a trend setter now. though im still not too happy about it.

btw you have great style. and just keep in mind that you wear the clothes. you are your own person, an individual. those losers are allowing the clothes to wear them because it is not their original descison based on themselves. their clothes dont interpret themselves properly. ovbiously. i mean G unit and lacoste never run within the same circle
