Followup to sherwood receiver problem

Question

well .. im listening to a beautiful mozart concerto thru the AUX channel of the receiver - i shoot it from my PC ... i'm relieved (shouldn't i be) .... but what does this mean for the DVD and cable sound problem/gone?  thanks so much,TB
