Fondant, Sugarpaste, Marzipan??

Question

so first off which one is the best and second can i buy them at a grocery store or an art store like micheals... im a little hesitant of buying online and dont want the shiping charge so if theres any story that sells them??

You can purchase most of what you need at Michaels.  They have premade fondant, and ingrediants for sugar paste.  The marzipan is usually a seasonal item.  Last time I got it, I had to order it from a local bakery and again from England!

rolled fondant is sugarpaste u can buy these items at specialty cake stores or large super markets marzipan is an almond flavoured paste usally it is the 1st coat when covering cakes followed by the sugarpaste. u can use only sugarpaste but need to 2 coverings to get a nice smoothe finish to ur cake
