Fondant Roses?????????

i make gorgeous fondant roses

but i never know how long to let them sit so they can dry

where should i place them and how long ahead of time should i make them??

The drying time will depend on how thick they are, what kind of fondant you used, and how much humidity there is in your house.  Most of my fondant flowers are dry within a day or two.  When I make roses, I knead a little bit of gum-tex powder into the fondant to stiffen it and make it dry faster.  I also hang the roses upside down to dry...you can get one of those little wire shelves that goes in a cupboard and just hook the wires on the roses over the shelf so they're hanging upside down until dry.
