Food Courts' Food - is it enough a meal for lunch/dinner ?

Food Courts and Hawker Centres are everywhere in Singapore.

My experience is that anywhere I went to, anyone of these are NOT ENOUGH to fill the stomach for Lunch or Dinner. !!

Laksa, Wanton Men, Chicken Rice, Char Kway Teow, Prawn Mee, Bak Kut Teh, Ban Mian, etc...

One bowl is suppose to be for adult size, right?

After one bowl (any food as above), feels stomach only 60% full, if each time must take 2 bowls, the already expensive food make my expenses higher.

Do you feel one bowl of anything mentioned above is really enough for your meal ? (Lunch, Dinner).

  1. never! a bowl of noodles or even claypot rice is ever sufficient. guess you need to have something like two bowls of rice and a mini steam boat.

  2. wow u sure is greedy

i thought one was too much for me (:

  3. Don't be greedy and be thankful for what you get.

  4. Yes. We should always maintain 70% of being full when we eat and not 100%. Not unless you have high daily physical activities. You will gain weight in no time if you cannot shed it away with additional serving.
