Food Ideas for 2nd birthday party?

My son will turn 2 in October. We are having a birthday party for him in a community room. Can anyone give me any ideas on what type of food I should serve. He does have a lot of relatives that will be coming. Most of the children will be over 4 years old. Please no suggestions for food made with Barley and Eggs because he is allergic.

I also am making blue jello and putting gummy fish in it then when its cool,I am taking whipped cream and putting it waves on the top of the jello

Of course the theme of my daughters party is The little mermaid so it fits.

Um finger sandwiches,and chips maybe some dip...Nothing to big! Unless you want It to be like a pot luck thing then everyone can bring a dish:) GOOD LUCK,AND HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR SON:)
