  1. It's a tough one but the way I keep hearing it, it helped him to GET his job and if it was one of the main reasons he was hired then, since it's false, it should be one of the main reasons he is fired. I think if he just "embellished" lighty and it was accompanied by a handfull of other TRUE tanlents and experience it wouldn't have been such a big deal. But he Claimed the cake and searched for recognition! Like, c'mon man!? keep it on the D-L if it aint true! If anything he should be fired for being such a bad liar!

  2. And while lying does, indeed, occur in our government and daily lives, do we condone it by saying "ok, as long as he gets the job done?"  In my opinion, no.   He deliberately lied to get a television program that enhanced his career.  He didn't get it by his own merit.  And, on that show, although he runs around barking orders and complaining that there just isn't enough time, if it weren't for his sous chef and helpers, he'd be up a creek.  He makes the show look good whether or not he actually does any of the hard work involved.  What he lied about is pretty significant and I think that the public should send a message to him and others:  We do not want to suppport it!

  3. ppl lie all the time look at our goverment,

  4. If he can get the job done I could care less.

  5. It doesn't matter whether or not the lie was integral to his being hired. What matters is that he lied, and in any other company, if you lie on a resume you do not get hired.

  6. If he can still do the work  that is required of him, no.

  7. Yes. They were BIG lies. He could have got the job based on his own merit. He is good, I enjoyed the show, but he doesn't deserve to keep his job.

  8. If he lied, then yes.
