  1. a large tray a good 15 pounds or so. a drink tray just a couple.


  2. I would say a tray with  4 plates weighs a good 10 to 15 pounds.  Then complicate that with a tray jack that weighs about 5 pounds in the opposite hand.  Real balancing act.  If guest only knew, they might tip a little more.
