Ive recently over the past month have been testing out fruits/veggies....he will get like little dry patches on his chest and shoulder, they are pink in color...they will last a few days and be gone...Do you think he's having a food allergy to the baby food?? Or is it normal??

  1. You are not supposed to feed a baby solid food before 6 months and then only rice cereal and slowly introduce foods one at a time. Some experts believe that introducing foods too early sets the baby up for food allergies.

  2. my 18week old girl sometimes gets that...i put it down to dry skin as she has a bath every evening and sometimes she isnt in themood for me to put lotion on,but when i do they go away...

  3. It's possible. When i was a baby i was REALLY allergic to apple juice. I would break out with this blotchy rash, and turn all red. Luckily it was only temporary. I am 20 years old now, and i love apple juice.

  4. Have a look at 'fedupwithfoodadditives' also known as failsafe which is a really good website on children's intolerances and allergies to salicylates in fruit and vegetables and also additives in food.
