Question:

Food and Travel?

Are there strict rules in Australia about people who write about restaurants and hotel / travel destinations? I've been here for 4 years now and I've never read a single negative review of an eating place or hotel. I reckon if Anton Ego from Ratatouille were here, he would get sued big time. Has there been an instance of a food critic being sued?

  1. G'day Neil,

The 'FoodCritic' thing is a beauty, isn't it. There wouldn't be a food critic in the world who would write a bad article on an eating establishment if it meant he/she woudn't get another shot at a free meal.

Why would they cut off the hand that feeds them?

I reckon a good dose of food poisoning would sort out the 'real' critics from the imposters, eh?
