Food before dance?

What type of foods are good to eat before I go to Jazz dance class cuz im really hungry?!?

  1. I always have a pack of those crackers with peanut butter on them. They fill you up enough, but they don't affect the way you dance. If we don't have that, I'll eat an apple or something.


  2. It's better to dance a bit hungry than full. When you are full, the brain tend to relaxed more because of the use of more oxygen.  You hard of hungry artist; people tend to be more creative when they are hungry - metaphorically or figuratively. But then you don't want to be distracted dancing because of hunger.  What you can do is eat some saltine crackers.  Enough to alleviate hunger pangs. Plus it has enough potassium, and helps the stomach neutralizing stomach acid.  Just eat as much as you want after dance class or concerts.

  4. carbohydrates but dont eat anything huge right before class maybe like some crakers or pretzels but if your class doesnt start till later pasta to keep you goin and stuff and dont think of all those carbs ull probly just burn it off anyway

  5. i hear carrots are good to eat before a dance class and a little carbohydrates cant hurt either. it will give you lots of energy and keep your body going.

  6. fruits and veggies- they won't make you feel heavy if you have to dance soon.
