  1. when I was at uni I used to get £50 a week to cover all expenses such as food and drink, going out, buying clothes etc.  I'd say, if you go to the cheapest places to buy your food (i.e. Lidl, Aldi and local greengrocers) then you could get by on £20 a week.  As long as your not too fussy!  If you like to have nice food, then maybe £30 - £40 a week.

  2. id say $40-$50 if its just for 1 person. buy lots of rice and pasta, fruit veg, cheap cuts of meat in bult that will last u all week. chicken thigh, mince etc. and most of all dont buy your lunch always make it before you leave in the morning. take a big bottle of water, i was tending to spand alot of money on drinks and coffee. my boyfriend and i spend $70 for the both of us for a week or a little longer. try make every meal cost less than 5 dollars but still include lots of vegetabes (vegies are cheaper tha meat) hope u do well at budgeting. good luck

  3. hmm it's a toughie since i need that info too. bt i'm basing this decision entirely on how much money i have in total for the week and wat other more urgent expenditures have to be paid.

  4. To be honist it depends on where you shop for starters.  If yo want cheap then Asda, Liddles and other cheap shops you use I would say 40-50. Also depends on how much you eat and how often.  I would prob get away with £40. Are you preparing for next yr at uni?! If so good luck. x

  5. Go to Aldi or Ldl cause their low price, low brand supermarkets. But dont worry just b/c these brands arn't what you see on telly doesnt mean their bad. It's actually pretty good.

  6. not sure you'd be interested in this and not sure its available in ur area...something called angel food ministries...its a large church organization that buys food in bulk from  a supplier..its not old.out dated or anything like that..they just buy it and pass it along to ne one who wants to take advantage...for $30 you can probably eat almost a whole month...i'm including the website for you to look at....

  7. I'd say about £25. That's without treats and alcohol.
