Food/drink question ?

Is it okay to still have orange juice and yogurt after they've been refrigerated, unrefrigerated for about 10 hours, then refrigerated again? I ask this because my refrigerator isn't working anymore and everything got warm, but the freezer still works, so I put all the important stuff in there, including eggs.

Will the eggs, orange juice, and yogurt be okay to have? They're in the freezer right now, cooling down again.

  1. Is the fridge working again?     The things you mentioned are probably fine if left unrefrigerated for about 10 hours. In parts of Europe, eggs are kept on the shelf, not a fridge.  But you can't freeze eggs-- they will not be the same...Hopefully your refrigerator will be fixed soon, I know that is so frustrating!

  2. well if you put those stuff there in a short time it will work as a fridge

  3. the eggs might b spoil but the orange juice and yogurt i don't think so.

  4. Eggs? I think so.

    Yogurt is a no.

    OJ should be just fine.

Mind you people will probably say your best bet is a no on all of them. But the Dairy products can gain harmful bacteria, even though it's already got bacteria....confusing I know. But the OJ should be just fine, and Eggs, well I don't  think it matters, I forgot eggs out overnight, put them back in the fridge later and were just fine. Besides, how would bacteria get INTO the egg?
