So for my 21st birthday, I'm hosting a Masquerade ball with a burlesque theme. My colors are Acid Green (absinthe green to be exact) black, white, and silver. The party will be in my home, and I've got some really niceFrench/Gothic furniture already, a couple of candelabras, tons of candles, and cut crystal (okay so they're really just glass) goblets and stuff.

About half of the guests coming are under age so, although it's my 21st, I'm not doing a lot of liquor based drinks, out of respect to them, also I really have no desire to drink, just look really pretty in my Absinthe/Green Fairy gown.

What I need now is food!

This is very formal so I'm not interested in pizza and rice crispie treats. Also it's not Halloween at all, so "monster fingers" and "eyeball soup" is right out. All I can think of is petite fours and sparkling cider dyed absinthe green.

  1. Do a chocolate waterfall, like chocolate fondue and have all the things you can dip like, bananas chunks, strawberrys, cherries and other food items that are dipable and yummy with chocolate.
