  1. Well, I think you might stretch out but you could exercise regularly and just eat properly.

  2. I'm trying to lose weight too.  I think if you just eat a balanced diet, you will be fine.  Try to get enough protein, fiber, vitamins, and all that.  Don't pig out or anything (I have a problem with that).  The best thing you can do is excersise a lot.  Go on jogs and keep yourself active.  Don't do anything unhealthy.  Don't just focus on one thing only.  I've also heard that when you eat celery, you burn more calories chewing it than what's in there and it will still fill you up.  So eat plenty of celery along with your balanced diet.

  3. well there is alot of different ways to lose weight fruits veggies of course don't forget exercise u can have slim fast (nasty in my opinion) u can have meat just as long its not all greasy drink ALOT of water before u go to sleep and when u wake up salads too subway engery bars are ok too i think if ur mom and dad let u, u would also take diet pills but most parents wouldn't let their 14 year child take that

  4. make sure your not getting too many calories or too much fat. if your not very active, you should only have 1,800 calories a day. if your very active, 2,400 calories. get enough exercise everyday. buy a pedometer and take 10,000 steps everyday. don't stop eating fat entierly because your body still needs fat to grow. allow yourself 1-2 treats a week.

Good Luck! I hope i helped!

  5. Dont eat too much in a meal. Make sure you eat atleast 3 times a day. Dont ever skip breakfast. Have light food for lunch and dinner. Nothing after 6. Start running around the track (if you're serious about losing weight, I suggest you do this.) Jog for the first couple of times, when you get used to your pace and breathing, start running for atleast 15 minutes. No chocolates AND junk food allowed. And you need lean meat, chicken is fine you can eat serloin beef, that's fine too. No pork. Exercise during the day and half an hour before you go to sleep. Stretch in the morning if you have time before school starts. Good luck! Expect result in about 2 weeks if you have the descipline.

  6. You have the right idea with the fruits and veggies (can't go wrong there), and there are tons to choose from...all are good for you! Stay away from too much bread and sweets and that should help. Although...I've found that the best way to get in shape/lose weight is to exercise. Rollerblading, jogging, swimming, tennis, even walking. Find an activity that you really enjoy and dive in! It's even better if you're doing it with a friend. Good Luck!

  7.       Starting on the path to weight control doesn't mean you have to give up all the foods you enjoy. I also doesn't mean that you have to eat less of your choices and your portions. Write down everything you eat for a few days so you can spot your biggest eating challenges. Make sure you are reading food labels and paying close attention to the serving sizes. Weighing or measuring your food will help you get a better idea of how much you are actually eating.  You want to focus on improving your health and fitness level rather than dieting. Increase your daily physical activity. Run more, go to the jym, Jumprope, play tag or anything you can to get a more physical lifestyle as well.

Try to stay away from High Calorie choices. When you look at that box of cereal or the bottle of mayonnaise pay attention to the number of calories are there. say away from big numbers. for beverages you want to try to have 0-100 calorie type drinks such as diet soft drinks, water, club soda, etc. You want to stay under 25 calories for fats. So with all that candy, read how many calories are there. That is always the biggest problem is the candy and the sweets.  For snacks such as Graham cracker(2 to 3 squares), popsicle(1), or vanilla or sugar wavers(5-6 pieces) You want to try to stay within 50-100 calories.

Try to stay away from fast food. And yes that means subway too. Subway can be healthy if you get the regular turkey with wheat sandwich. But with that you would have to take off the cheese and the mayo. Which can suck but you can still have it every now and then.

No matter what anyone says, Losing weight and KEEPING it off is quite hard. You can spend years adding extra pounds, but the fact that it may take years to get them off is not a popular idea. Try eating fewer calories and burning more with exercise day after day. It is proven that it is the best way for long term successful weight loss. Believe it or not, small changes over a long period of time can be very effective.

With your daily "diet", try to eat about 1600 to 2000 calories a day. you can do that without gaining weight. Try to eat more fruits and vegetables. Meat is also a good source of keeping one healthy. If you just stick to chicken, you aren't always going to get the nutrients you need that other meats have and chicken does not. If your have ever seen the food guide, which I'm sure you have, bread and grains are on the bottom. Thats because that is the part of the guide that you need the most of. try to eat more breads and grains(cereal, wheat bread, spaggetti, ect.)
