You can't beat a good spuddy stew. But on the other hand a medium rare steak is pretty unmatchable (if thats a word) too. With pepper sauce.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't think you can measure life in terms of years. I think longevity doesn't necessarily have anything to do with happiness. I mean happiness comes from facing challenges and going out on a limb and taking risks. If you're not willing to take a risk for something you really care about, you might as well be dead.

if you want to impress someone with your cooking skills then both are just as good.cooking a stew takes time and care but can sometimes look a bit thrown together sort of thing.steak is good if you cook it to the persons taste.a good tip on cooking steak is to make up some garlic butter with some fresh parsley in it and heat up your pan till very hot,seal off one side,turn it over and start to add the garlic butter to it,turn it over again and do the same on other side.it makes the steak taste beautiful and gives it a good gloss.good luck with whatever you do.
