Went to this new place and the food was great but the service stunk. Do I tell them this? Or just don't go back? Or?

  1. Let them know how they are doing and maybe next time you go back things will be different and you might like the way they serve you next time if you let them know now.  One person tells 20 of there friends that the service was bad and they tell 20 of there friends and so on and so on.  So just one bad time don't hurt to let them know and maybe they will fix the problem and next time you have the best service you ever had.

  2. You really should tell them. Many big chains started small with several mistakes but customer feedback and surveys helped them improve.

You could go down in history as one customer that changed the future of food service! Maybe!

Its always better to start by addressing their good points though, like you did in the question

    All the best.

  3. tell them for sure. they need to know what they lack so they can fix it and make them even better.

  4. Ask to compliment the chef, let them know the service needs to be improved. Since it is a new place, I wouldn't TOTALLY discount it. Go back again in a month or so. They should have their act together by then. New places are usually like that.
