  1. Here are some healthy food choices that I buy and would easily travel with you to school.  Natural organic fruit stix and meat stix and beef jerky.  No icky stuff in it like growth hormones or nitrates.  Meal replacement shakes, chocolate or vanilla, are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and protein, and no bad stuff.  You'd just have to buy milk at school, or bring from home in a thermos.  Yogurt is good for you and easy to bring along.  But be sure to read the label and make sure it has the active bateria, and make sure it doesn't have artificial sugar.

  2. You could cook chicken breast in advance and eat that on your salad or on the side.

Tuna is always a good and easy idea.

Sandwiches can be made so many different ways - just pack all of the ingredients separate so that your sammie doesn't get mushy - you could make a turkey sandwich with mayo, mustard, sprouts, lettuce, tomato on a yummy roll. Or a ham sandwich or a salame and cheese...

  3. I would make a little more for supper and I'd have it for lunch the next day.

  4. I love having peanut butter and banana sandwiches for lunch. They're not extremely healthy, but they're definitely not bad for you, and I used to occasionally get cramps when I slept, and the potassium is good for you.

  5. In the evening roughly chop some veg, toss in olive oil and herbs and roast in the oven.  The next day you can have these with some cold cooked pasta or cooked turkey.

You could stuff pitta breads or those wraps with houmous and turkey / lamb / beef.

You could make couscous and have that with cooked cold meat or fish.

Make meat balls and pasta and have those.

I'm not suggesting rice because unless cooled properly, rice has a bacteria whic mutiplies and if you don't re-heat it to burn-off-roof-of-mouth temperature, you get such a violent stomach ache and vomit like the girl in the Exorcist.

  6. Hit the deli and get an assortments of cold cuts, cheeses, and nuts… everyone goes nuts for nuts!  Or try taking Black Forest Ham (thinly sliced) and wrapping it around asparagus.  Make sure the asparagus is not overly soft.  And for a nice change try wrapping Prosciutto around Cantaloupe using toothpicks to hold both ideas together.  Yum yum, give me some!
