  1. potatos & onions:

quarter your choice of however many potatos you choose

put down a layer of foil

cover with a thin layer of olive oil

place the potatos on the foil

drissle with a small amout more of olive oil

open a packet of onion soup mix and sprinkle on top

close the foil into a packet, and grill with the rest of your food... comes out amazing

  2. Salads:

Ceaser, Italian Sauce on that cool purple leaved Salad.

    Meats:

Steak, Hamburgers or Cheese Burgers, Bacon :p.

    Side Dishes:

    Fruit, CHIPS.

    Desserts:

Cake, Icecream Sundaes, or Cupcakes. ^_^

  3. Make it mediterranean.

    - Beef and chicken kebabs

    - Spicy chops on the bbq

    - Yoghurt and cucumber tzatziki

    - Hummus

    - Babaganoush

    - Tabouli salad

    - Pasta salad

    Dessert

    - Baclava

    - Sweet cheese

    - Gelato ice cream

I'll come back with more ideas

  4. You seem to have ideas for what to BBQ, so here are some of my family favorites:

    FRUIT AMBROSIA

    2 c. heavy whipping cream

    1/2 c. sugar

    1 tsp.vanilla extract

    1/2 tsp. almond extract

1 large can mandarin oranges, drained

    1-2 cans fruit cocktail, drained

    1/2 c. coconut

    3-5 cups miniature marshmellows

Whip cream, sugar & extracts until very stiff peaks.  Fold in fruit & marshmellows and chill.  (Can be made ahead)

    Great dessert:

    LEMONADE PIE

1 large container Cool Whip, softened

1 6-oz. can lemonade concentrate, thawed

1 can Eagle Brand sweetened, condensed milk

    1 9" graham cracker crust

Mix first 3 ingredients together well and put into crust.  Can dollop with more Cool Whip, if you want.  Chill at least 4 hours .......can also use pink lemonade or limeade .....The storebought crusts have a plastic top that flip over to cover the filled crust, so you can stack several pies in the refrigerator (do one of each flavor for a crowd)

  5. shish ca bobs, veggie tray, fruit tray, all the tasty salads(potato, macaroni) garlic bread, tri-tip. BBQs are pretty basic and always good no matter what you serve. It really depends on how many ppl you are feeding and what your budget is

  6. meats- ribs, brats.

salads- bowtie salad with tomatoes and mozorella

side dishes- baked beans and macoroni and cheese (both homemade)

    deserts- candy apple salad, http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Candy-Apple...

  7. hamburgers

    hotdogs

    steaks

    shish kabobs

    patato salad

    macaroni salad

    fruit salad

    watermelon!!!

    cookies

    chocolate fondue

  8. Marinade cubed pork and chicken in soy sauce - then skewer with peppers, shallots, tomatoes and mushrooms for grilling.

Marinade skinned chicken in yoghurt with a teaspoon of ginger paste a teaspoon of garlic paste and some curry powder leave for several hours (overnight in fridge) then bbq.

Wrap potatoes anf new potatoes in foil and BBg (i prefr to microwave mine soft first then heat them on the bbq)

Corn on the cob for the bbq

    Beefburgers and sausages,

green Salad. Mixed Bean Salad. Waldorf Salad.

    Desert -

Fruit Kebabs - Fruit cut into large cubes and skewered

    Cheesecake with fresh fruit

    Fruit Salad

  9. New potato skewers.

Cook some new potatoes until soft then thread them onto skewers, alternate with some onion and bay leaves, sprinkle on some salt then pop them on the bbq to crisp up.

Its a nice alternative to potato salad and looks much more impressive than it actually is.

    Honey and mustard chicken skewers

Mix equal amount of wholegrain mustard and honey and marinade chicken cubes for at least 2 hours or overnight. Then put onto skewers, alternating with red/green/yellow pepper and onion. I cook them in oven for about 25 mins beore putting on bbq but you prob can put straight on. They can be served as they are but I then take mine off the skewers and mix into loads of lettuce for a nice chicken salad, its gorgeous! Thinking about it would also be nice with cherry toms too.

  10. Make Hamburgers and Hotdogs. And maybe have fish if there are any vegetarians. Have a big vegetable tray with dip. Also have some pasta salad and potato salad and maybe even just plain old lettuce salad. And for dessert, you can never go wrong with ice cream.
