Food in Checked Baggage?

Hi,

What are the rules for carrying food in checked baggage on short haul flights within Europe (say, from the UK to an EU destination like Paris) please?

Or are there no rules?

  1. You're not allowed to bring in meats, fish etc. because of disease control.

    Anything else is fine.  I am vegan, so I always take some supplies with me when we fly out to play in different countries.


  2. Taking food abroad depends on the customs regulations of the country you are taking it to

    Check with the country you are going to
