  1. There are lots of kinds of celebration foods in Spain.

    For Example:

    Christmas: Besugo, polvornones, Turrones, Mazapanes.

    Easter / Lent. Bunuelos de bacalao, Monas,, Roscones.

  3. Paella is a major spanish dish.  It consists of mostly rice with some meat.  Many of the mediterranean cities use seafood, but it's also done with sausage and other meats.

    Another major spanish food is "jamon" which means ham in spanish, but it's special ham.  It's cured.  It is more dried out and oily, but it's very good.

    For drinks, Sangria is popular (wine and fruit)
