  1. i dont no

  2. go to the hospital..

  3. It would be wise to go the ER in the town where you are visiting.  You can easily dehydrate and have extremely painful stomach pains.

Call the restaurant, ask for the manager.  Tell him/her when you ate there, what you ate, and which hospital you are going to.  Tell him/her that you are going to have the hospital bill them for your ER visit and medications that you will need in order to get well enough to travel home.  While you have the manager on the phone, be sure that you get his/her name, and ask for the address and to whose attention the bill should be sent to.

Be very assertive.  If you have to, get on the net and contact the Headquarters.

  4. Try honey if u don't have any medicine. It's like natural medicine just make a honey drink or somthing

  5. What the h**l are you doing sitting down asking question???

you should call the manager and deal with it. time

is ticking and the longer you wait the least they'll believe you..

  6. so you contracted food posioning from a toxin in the food you ate at Shoneys? Food posioning usually results in vomiting and diahhoria, however if you become feverish and the symptoms last longer than 6-12 hours see a doc immediantly as you may need you stomach pumped. I'd ring the actual restraunt you ate at first before contacting the head office as they would be able to check and hopefully pin point the off food you consumed and dispose of it before others get sick from eatting it. You can ask the restraunt for the cooperate number and simply explain what happened, but if the actual restruant manager solves the problem i dont think it needs to be reported to head office as it may just be something simple like a broken fridge or in correctly dated food which can be fixed at store level

  7. you should go to a doctor and insist that restaurant pay the doctor bill and give you back the money you spent on your food and definatly talk to a manager there!

  8. In law you need to have a physician say you got food poising then you have to prove from were

  9. Food poisioning usually calls for activated charcoal. Since that sucks...

Toast, burnt toast... lots of it.

  10. i am doubting you guys have food poisoning at all it takes alot longer than 3 hours to show up and anyway you need to go to the doctor and they have to get vomit and stool samples to prove it's food poisoning before you can go charging in there guns blazing or you'll end up in the proverbial.  just make sure you get tested and your sick from there for sure

  11. u contact where u ate immediatley && speak to the manager && get the corporate offices #...my mom had tha same prob in brasil

  12.   call poison control, drink alot of fluid like water etc.

  13. Eat bananas, brown rice, apples, toasy. Drink tea. BRAT!

  14. poo.

  15. Tell shoneys that you strongly reckon that you have been poisoned by their food and that it isn't a coincidence that you and your boyfriend started regurgitating it three hours after eating there! Then try and get to food critics and inform them, after going to your doctors of course!

  16. Before you become involved with contacting the corporate offices, I suggest that you and your boyfriend make a trip to see a doctor. Even though you are away from home, local emergency rooms are always open and willing to help you with something like this. Because your symptoms appeared so soon after eating the food, I would concur with you in saying that it probably IS food poisoning, but it's best to get medical attention just to be sure.

  17. The odds are that you are going to recover from your food poisoning just fine in a few days.  Drink lots of fluid to prevent dehydration and flush the toxins out of your body.  If you have severe diarrhea and cannot rehydrate yourself see a doctor.

To report the incident contact the local health department. See the links below for details.

  18. You should call the resturant and make a report. They need to know if something bad like that happened. Tell them what you ate (and drank), your symptoms, and when they started happening. Sounds like it won't last too long if you are already puking and getting it out of your system. Stay hydrated, and please call them. They will give you more information on what to do as well.

  19. HOLY S**t DIP TO THE HOSPITAL ND CALL A NITE !!!

    HOPE UR STR8

  20. Usually, food poisoning doesn't show up until about 24-48 hours afterwards.  You probably didn't get food poisoning there if it has only been three hours.  Food poisoning comes from meat that hasn't been fully cooked, or from vegetables that haven't been properly cared for.

My advice is just to wait it out.  Food poisoning usually doesn't last that long, and there's no way to make it stop.  You could try taking pills for nausea and eating light foods when hungry, such as chicken broth or toast.  I hope you both feel better soon!

  21. 1. take activated charcoal

    2. drink lots of fluids

Do not eat solid food while nauseous or vomiting but drink plenty of fluids. Small, frequent sips of clear liquids are the best way to stay hydrated.

Avoid alcoholic, caffeinated, or sugary drinks. Over-the-counter rehydration products made for children such as Pedialyte and Rehydralyte are very good for adults as well.

After successfully tolerating fluids, eating should begin slowly, when nausea and vomiting have stopped. Plain foods that are easy on the stomach should be started in small amounts. Consider eating rice, wheat, breads, potatoes, cereals (low-sugar cereals), lean meats, and chicken (not fried) to start.

Most food poisonings do not require the use of over-the-counter medicines to stop diarrhea, but they are generally safe if used as directed.

    Best of luck!

PS: You should report the restaurant to the local Health Department.

  22. You might want to make sure it's food poisoning before starting in on this, because they will do nothing without proof.   Which means a trip to the ER for you and your boyfriend.  They will run tests and determine if it's food poisoning.  They will likely ask you where you ate so they can report it to the health department.   If Shoney's gave you food poisoning they probably gave it to other people as well and therefore, the more people that get treated the more attention it gets.   I got food poisoning from Red Lobster when I was 5 weeks pregnant.  I just went to the manager, showed them my doctor's report and they gave me a refund.  However, in many cases the restaurant chain won't do anything until the contamination has been traced back to their establishment by the health department.  So, you can try to talk to the manager, again have proof at hand, but it likely won't do you any good unless the health department receives enough reports that it then investigates the problem.
