Glad I live in Kansas instead of West Virginia. But maybe the wages are higher there. Our minimum wage is now $6.50 per hour, and even places like McDonalds start at $7 per hour.

I used to live in a town that had an ALDI Supermarket.  ALDI is an international chain, with unbelievable prices. They claim that you can save up to 50%, & I believe it.  I raised 2 children as a single parent for 12 years, & ALDI was a life-saver for me.  On a teacher's income, it was a real blessing.  They have stores in West Virginia.  This is their website, if you're interested.  They have a store locator; just type in your zip code.
