Hi! Anybody know any food or supplement that would help in treating frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis? I tried searching the web but haven't found any useful tips. If anybody knows anything about this, I would very much appreciate your help.

Thanks!

  2. I'm sorry I don't know any food supplements that will help, but I do know of some all natural remedies you could try. First though, did your doctors give you a thorough work-up when you were diagnosed with this? There are some disorders that are associated with this like diabetes or a thyroid disorder, along with a few others. And, what stage or phase are you in? Essential oils sound like they would be the most beneficial to try...Eucalyptus is an anti-inflammatory, peppermint is anti-inflammatory as well, plus it helps with relaxing tightened muscles and heightens circulation, nutmeg is well-known for "unfreezing" frozen shoulder, and juniper oil is good for relieving joint pain. Essential oils can be taken a few different ways, for you I would suggest direct skin contact on the injured shoulder. They can be found in almost all health food stores, if you try it look for a high-grade organic brand. And, most need to be mixed with a carrier oil. Sweet Almond oil is a great one to be used as a base. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. I'm sorry I couldn't help you out with any food supplements though.
