When you eat out wud you sometimes prefer to order two starters instead of a main course or 1 starter of a larger portion.

Would you prefer to pick and choose wat you get on your main course?

One starter or even no starter, since there's bread to chew on.

I often just order from the appetizer menu. There's always different apps to choose from then like common chicken or steak meals.

I wouldn't really prefer to pick and choose. I usually see a create your own combo meal on most menus, but other than that, I just order the way it is. That's what the menu is for.
