I had my wisdom teeth cut on Tuesday and I think I am doing fine, no pain, dry socket or infection so far and today's Sunday. I haven't been able to brush my teeth regularly since my face is swollen so I can't open my teeth widely and I van just barely brush my front teeth and my tongue. But my problem is that I have braces and the food( rice porridge) are trapped on my the brackets and wire and I can't use the proxybrush since I can't open my widely. So would that harm my teeth?

  1. Just try your best to brush what you can, and for the rest of your mouth just rinse. And your surgeon should have given you a syringe to rinse the holes out. You can use the syringe to spray in between the brackets of your braces to flush the food out.

  2. Try to brush as best you can and rinse with some warm saltwater to help rinse away any food particles.Once the swelling goes down, you will be better able to brush and keep things clean.
