  1. You have to read the label. If it says "natural flavor" or something along those lines it is usually made from animal products. If it is artificial it should be ok. If its not on the packet try going to their website or write to the producer.

  2. food with natural flavours.  EASY!  all fruit and veg silly

  3. "Natural Flavors" is such a loose term that it could really mean anything.  The only way to be sure what the natural flavor actually is, is to contact the manufacturer.  Although, if the rest of the ingredients are vegan, it's reasonable to assume that the natural flavors are plant-based as well...but you can never be sure unless you ask.

  4. Marinara sauce -- but read the label. All food you buy in the store has High Fructose Corn Syrup. Not a vegan favorite, but technically a corn product. Better off making your own sauce instead. Salsa is vegan. Peanut butter. Vegetarian chili with out cheese. Whole wheat pasta.

  5. Homemade salsa would definitely be vegan.  I make mine by pulsing in my food processor:   1 green bell pepper;  1-2 jalapeno peppers;  2-3 fresh tomatoes;  a bunch of fresh cilantro;  about 1/2 onion and some garlic.  Add some salt & pepper & sprinkle some oregano to taste.  You can mix in 1-2 TB. olive oil, if you want.   If you want it hotter, add some other peppers that are hotter than jalapeno
