  1. custards, jello, pudding, broth, ice cream, yogourt, popsicles, etc for the first couple of days

I made the mistake of having rice for dinner 2-3 days after and one of the grains of rice got wedged in one of the sockets.  It went bad and caused a nasty infection and the odour was horrendous.

If he has stitches, he might find his jaw will be really stiff tomorrow and chewing might be difficult for him.

  2. Oooh...I remember those days.

Mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, soup, chili (wendy's was a lifesaver!), bananas, pudding, ice cream...

  3. Go someplace you can get something soft or liquidy. I'd recommend going to a soup/salad place because both are pretty easy to eat. You could go out for ice cream or smoothies afterwards. Hope I helped! :)

  4. Anything soft, that doesn't require much chewing.

  5. I would try soft foods like yogurt and mashed potato's..don't give him anything with a straw...the suction can cause dry sockets..in all honestly he most Ikey won't want to eat..I have 4 bone impacted wisdom teeth removed and when i was healing i lost 15 lbs..

  6. Soft diet and warm foods.  Nothing too hot.  Nothing with nuts, rice, or tiny bits of food.  The reason is a bit of the food can get stuck in the socket and feel annoying.

I'm assuming he got teeth extracted from his right and left side.  If he only got one side extracted then he can eat perfectly on the other side.  Soft and warm is key regardless though.  Small bites.

  7. It has to be something soft, like soup, or pasta. All I ate for the first few days was KFC's mashed potatoes.

He should be able to eat pasta, so maybe olive garden would be nice.

Maybe if dinner is to hard to figure out, take him out for ice cream. (Just make sure he eats it with a spoon and not a straw!, Otherwise he'll get dry socket which kills!)

    hope this helps sweetie!
