Question:

Fooling UPS load value?

Ok, I'm using a UPS as a inverter (650VA Sunpac Line Interactive) to power up some bulbs when the power goes out. But the problem is the bulbs are like 40W.. so the UPS's no load auto shutdown kicks in and turns off the UPS in 20 seconds... Its very annoying. Can someone tell me a way to fool the UPS's load sensor (replacing it with a resistor or something).

It would be a great help.

  1. You might wanna go for flourescent light bulbs is less wattage, instead of trying to fool a UPS. Uninterruptible Power Supply.
