Foot arch thing? pics

hey do u no the arch in ur foot like in this pic the http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2007/08/01/health/adam/19568Plantarfasciitis.html and the plantar fascia bit gets very panifull, if it does i like 2 poke something in it like a edge of a table, of something and while im holdin it there the pain goes but as soon as i take it off the edge its sore again? my dad doesnt no what im on about....any1 had this? wat can i do?

like the previous person i think you could use some phase 4 orthotic insoles for your shoes..Sounds like you have fallen arches or are flat footed. When you put pressure on your foot it feels good cause they hurt so bad..I know what your talking about..You can squeeze it real hard and it will feel good to. If this is your problem You will not believe the difference after wearing them for about a week.
