Foot hurting like h**l...anyone know what i can do?

the heel of my left foot is hurting like h**l, I'm resting it up and I'm still getting a throbbing pain as if the blood cant get to my toes.... i have to walk on my toes i cant put my foot flat on the floor...... it isn't swollen just very very painful its only been like it since this morning at work but i haven't knocked it or anything.... thanks to anyone who can help x

hi,there is a name for it but i cant remember it! ive had it before and its just a strain injury.I'm afraid to say it normally takes weeks to heal properly and theres not much you can do for it.sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

go to the doc! but RICE helps it is rest, ice, compression, elevation! it helps and try slep with it on a pillow if u go to the doc tomorrow :D hope that helps

Soak it in steaming hot hot water

then go chemist 1st they sometimes give bette advice

try putting ice on your foot but if its still hurting i advise you to see your doctor

You have plantar fasicitis and it does hurt like h**l.  You must have injuried the fascia in your foot somehow. The only real cure is time.  Ice helps some and I know your foot hurts worse when you first get up in the morning.  I wa 6 months getting over mine.  I got it from wearing very heavy steeled toed boots. I finally bought some 200 dollar orthotics that were made especially for me and then I finally got better

maybe it's the type of shoe that you are wearing?  that happened to me too when i wasn't wearing a cushy sneaker, and spending a whole day at the zoo with that type of pain,  TORTURE!!  Maybe if you want to keep on wearing the same shoes you could get Dr.Scholes foot soles or whatever they are called.  Well I hoped I helped.TTYL!!!!

could be gout, but i think that normally starts in the toes (thats where mine is, and it is the devil!!)
