Foot pain question????

my moms feet have been hurting a lot lately..

it's like this sharp pain on her heel to like the middle of her foot..

also, her feet fall asleep up to a little past her ankle...

does anyone know what this could be?

the numbness is likely due to neuropathy or a disorder called Morton's neuroma...she needs to explain her symptoms to her Dr and be referred to a podiatrist or neurologist...the heel pain is likely plantar facaitis that has developed as a result of her weight not being evenly distributed on her feet because she is experiencing the numbness
