I am just curious as to which "Physical Training" is more grueling? Football Physical Training or Military Physical Training how does the two compare in fitness training...Since USAF is said to be easiest out of all branches which is harder H.S Football Physical Training or USAF Bootcamp "Physical Training" ( Note I am not comparing the two as to being alike, just comparing the physical aspects of it). I played High School Football andd remember it to being one of the hardest physicall training i ever done. Am planning on joining USAF by fall and wonder if its physical training aspect of it is harder. Reason why i asked is because i previously wanted to join marines to recieve there training ( had more reasons to join marines not just to recieve training) and hesitated about entering Airforce since its physicall fitness was deemed "easier" than most branches by many people although i was interested in both branches. Would like to know if USAF will give me the same fitness training as H.S Football if not more.I am just curious. thx.

P.S Need honest opinions preferred are ppl who been already experienced the two

  1. My husband and i are both in the Air Force and he used to play high school football and i asked him your question and he laughed and said high school football is harder! Physical training is not all day by the way. It's either early in the morning or later in the evening depending on the season.

  2. football over the usaf (chair force)  if you asked usmc over football i say usmc

  3. my guess would be that the USAF basic training is harder.  Football is 2 hours on week days.  basic training is all day with little sleep, and i think it is much more mentally challenging.
