on August 25th, we are starting 6am-6pm practices for 6 days.

and it's practically hellweek. and, i joined on May, so i got to lift a lot, but i missed out on about a month because i was on a trip (but did a LOT of push ups, and played a lot of soccer) but, since i'm a freshmen, and this is my FIRST time playing football, i really don't no wat to expect from hellweek. i joined cuz, i can really use my body, and it looks like a good opportunity: 5'11 at 210 lbs. and, i bench about 90? but i havnt in a while so idk. and we havnt got into playoffs in a long time, so i'm considering harder practices. there's still a week, how should i really get prepared?

1. wat to expect?

2. wat do we do?

3. for the last week, (i'll be at school lifting wit the team), but how can i get ready more...

  1. No offense, but if your 5'11" 210 lbs. and your benching 90, you have a LOT of work to do. I'm 125, and I'm benching 140, freshman also. Its gonna be hard, lots of conditioning. You'll be picked on a lot by the coaches for missing a month. It'll go by VERY slowly. Make sure you stay hydrated so that you can be at 100%. Give all you can on every sprint, play, make sure you pay attention, don't open your mouth too much and you'll be fine.

  2. Well pretty much expect alot of running. We did it offence in morning and defence in afternoon. I had to do it for 2 weeks though. Anyway man, you will be in full pads most likely so It might be hot. You will probabley do some hitting. Don't worry too much. Just remember the plays, give it all on every sprint, hit hard, and when the coaches tell you to do something, just do it without a word. Give it all.  Good luck to you and your team.

Remember, your never as tired as you think you are.

  3. hey if you play a lot of soccer you should really look into being a kicker on your football team also. you sound like you have a good build and kicking footballs is almost the same as kicking a soccer ball. really i will be a senior this year and i have started ever since my sophomore year on varsity as a kicker and im going to college for it too. it is really a big plus if you have a strong soccer leg

  4. nothing much to expect but practice and weight training............don't get scared its easy if your determined to play
