Football – How the game has evolved (Part 1)
Football has evolved a lot since its creation. First there were players that could make a difference, later the difference was created by the whole team and after that came the role of managers as their strategy mattered a lot whenever it came down to winning
games. Just like the game evolved, the players evolved as well.
From a legend like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Maradonna who believes in individual skill, there is not only a difference of time but the way both of them played football. Even comparing them both is stupidity just
like comparing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 to Maradonna, even though both of them look the same, they play football in a very different way.
Football these days has changed a lot since the past time. Before, even a single player could make a difference in the entire team but with football that is being played nowadays, to win a game the whole team has to perform. The biggest example of team play
can be taken from Manchester United. The 19 times English Champions are performing under one of the best coaches in the world Sir Alex Ferguson. The Scotsman simply outdid everyone in the last season by keeping Manchester United at the top of the table even
with a squad that is very weak individually.
With http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 who stepped up and became the hero in Old Trafford. The Manchester United number 10 scored ridiculous
number of goals for the Red Devils a season before the last season and kept his team in the list of favourites to winning the Premier League title. If it wasn’t for his injury that he took towards the end of the season, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 would definitely face difficulty
to catch up the pace of Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s men.
If we take a look at the best teams in the history of football, very familiar names come to mind – Manchester United, AC Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool. All these teams have created a team that was known to be unbeatable during its time. Manchester
United had a team of golden players when they won their first treble back in 1999. Just like that, AC Milan had their own time after 1990 and so did Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 when they were big forces in not only their respective leagues but also in Europe.
Back in those times, football was different compared to football that is being played these days. Back when AC Milan were at their peak, they had all the players that could do something with the football at their feet. Same was the case with the rest of
the teams and now it is the case with the Catalan Giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
All the teams require some fire power and individual skill. Even a team like Tottenham Hotspur had a player like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 who took the team along with his amazing crosses and dribbling.
