The player in his latest press release announced that he had an ambition to manage at the Dutch club Ajax in future.

Sneijder emerged from the youth of Dutch footballing giants Ajax and was immediately signed by Real Madrid.
However, he faced many difficulties at Real Madrid and was transferred to the Italian giants Inter Milan. Under the legendary Portuguese Jose Mourinho, Sneijder evolved into a better player.
Even though he has just reached the middle of his career, he is already planning for a managerial stint.
“It would be absolutely fantastic to return to Ajax one day and take over as head coach. I think I have what it takes to become a successful coach. Coming up with new tactical concepts should be something that suits me,” the Dutch star said.
Sneijder also praised the current president Frans van Seumeren of Utrecht saying that he appreciated the effort he had put in. Utrecht was the place where Sneijder was born and ironically, has never played for them, so there is a chance he manages them before
Ajax.
Speaking on the issue, he said, “I speak to Van Seumeren on a regular basis. He's the big man behind Utrecht's rise in the past couple of seasons. He's a good person with some great plans. Everything he does at Utrecht happens for a very good reason. Utrecht
are an example to follow for Ajax.”
