Need to Upgrade TE:

I GET: J. Witten

The J. Witten owner has V. Young, J. Facco and B. Quinn as his QBs in a 2-Start QB league!

Plus Fargas, W. Parker as his RBs.

Is this a Fair Deal considering he's weak at QB and RB??

Overall, it looks like a win-win and I would strongly consider it if I were in his shoes.  My only hesitation would be that there is a good chance Leinart will be starting some of the games and that would mean going back to the bench for one of the other QB's.  That would leave me exactly as I had been if I had not made the trade, plus I no longer have a decent TE.  Like I said, I would give it strong consideration, so since I am very cautious when it comes to making trades, you have proposed a good deal that a lot of people would jump on.

Warner isn't much of an upgrade at QB and unless you get big ponits for attempts and rushing yards Parker has little value, as well. If I have Witten I'd pass on the deal.

Instead of trying to trade for Witten lower your sights a little and see if you can get Shockey straight up for either of those players. He should have a ig year in NO given that Colston is the only real threat they have at wideout.

Or see if Ben Utecht is available as a FA. He's starting for Cincy and they'll find a way to work him into the passing game.

You're getting the worse end of this trade.  Your team is very very good as is and TEs in fantasy are overrated.  Edge is expendable since you have Johnson and Rice and you may want to explore trading him.  Warner is a top ten QB and you'd be better off using him vs bad defenses and during bye weeks rather than trading him for TE.

In short, keep Warner, if you really want a TE, trade for Edge straight up

That's a solid deal for him considering his QBs suck. I think he'd be nuts to go for it though. Witten might be to valuable for him to move. Offer it and see what happens.

Why not offer Warner straight up for someone like Vernon Davis. With Martz's offense in place he should have a very good year and cost you a lot less than Witten.
