My son is a 10 Y/O defensive lineman. His wrists are sore..should I wrap them?? Anything special I should get to protect them? Not sure if they make anything special, just don't want him to get hurt so early in the game..

  1. when he goes to play the game/practice wrap some gauze around the wrist then wrap it in athletic tape. Then he he comes home put ice on it.

  2. I would say ice them and then tape them. If they're sore you don't want to cause your son too much more pain and icing and taping should help provent get too much more soreness.

  3. As long as he doesn't slit them, he should be just fine.

  4. I would ice them for about 20, then when he goes to practice or to games, wrap them up in athletic tape. You can get it anywhere.

  5. ill put money on it his wrists are sore from being in stance considering all your weight in in your fingers/wrists when in defensive linemen stance

    offensive line -guard

    defensive line- defensive tackle

sore muscles will not cause serious injury
